ROYAL WEDDING BREAKFAST GREAT SUCCESS

Almost 50 children enjoyed a delicious free Royal Wedding Breakfast to celebrate the Wedding of William and Katherine.  The children enjoyed:  strawberries and cream, British Bangers on toast, toasted teacakes, as well as toast or cereal, with orange or apple Juice.  After their food they had an opportunity of taking part in a variety of activities: Tennis, Badminton, Drawing, Football or Netball.  We are sure that the children really enjoyed themselves and hope that this will encourage them to carry on coming to Breakfast Club.

We are very keen to see children come to Breakfast Club to enjoy a really good start to the day.  The children can have a nourishing breakfast and take part in healthy activities.  We are especially keen to see Year 6 children attend during the SATS week from Monday 9th May.  The cost is £1.50 per day or £7.00 if paid on Monday for 5 days.

Our Popular Breakfast Club

This year the Breakfast Club is becoming more popular. The children not only enjoy a healthy breakfast but have lots of fun playing games, football, drawing or playing on the Wii. At only £1.50 per day or £7.00 for the week it is great value for money, especially for those mums and dads who have to go to work early.

Children can join in any day of the week, just come along; breakfast is served from 8.05 a.m. to 8.25 a.m. after which they can play games or play football in the arena. The most popular activity is the Wii where children can play games or get really fit and play “Just Dance”.

SPANISH BREAKFAST GREAT SUCCESS

Over 40 children had a wonderful morning when they came to the Spanish Breakfast. To celebrate Spanish Day the breakfast was served free of charge and they enjoyed: Pancakes, Croissants, Fruit Salad, Yogurt, Baguettes with cheese and ham.

Some of the children went to the sports arena and played a Spain v England match.  Those that stayed in the Hall had great fun playing lots of Spanish Games including Cara o Cruz (Heads or Tails), Pies Quietos (Stopped Feet) and La Bomba

We know the children really enjoyed themselves at Breakfast Club and we would love to see them come to breakfst club more regularly.  At only £1.50 per day it is great value for money.

SPANISH DAY 24TH SEPTEMBER Breakfast Club

Come and Join the Breakfast Club Letter

letter to parents reminder sept 10
Here is a letter recently sent out to all parents. We would like to see an increase in the number of children attending Breakfast Club. We believe it give your child a good start to the school day, provides a healthy breakfast and an interesting variety of activities.

Increase in Price of Breakfast Club

Following discussions the Governors have decided to increase the cost of Breakfast Club to £1.50 per child from September.  This still represents very good value for money as we know that many local schools charge between £3 and £4 per child.

We hope this will not deter anybody attending Breakfast Club as we still consider it very important to give children a very healthy start to the day.

Children can select 3 items from the menu and take part in many different activities including Football, Badminton, Drawing, Computer and the popula Wii.
